I did everything listed above and it did not work – control panel, programs and clicking on uninstall only looked like it was working, it then ran the green bar backwards and stayed where it was. I did everything in manage add on’s, nothing, still got it. MalwareBytes was being very weird after the scan and didn’t catch anything, and neither did Spybot. What now?

I’ve got the same problem as guest 2-13-14, the green bar goes backwards when i try to uninstall via control panel, even though i followed the above advice inc the task manager advice. Any other advice I could have?

You may try deleting SavingsBull folder located at C:Program Files. Still, you have to end the above mentioned processes before you can remove this folder.

Hope this will work for you!

  • RMAN56

it does not show up in my Firefox extensions, it will not uninstall from my program and features in either normal or safe mode, it has a folder in C in program files, all that is in the folder is uninstall, it does not uninstall. I deleted the file, it disappeared, I restarted and it was back. It lists the date as of today, but this is the first I’ve been on the internet and I haven’t even opened my mailbox, so I don’t know how anything could be due to something I did today. Anyway, it was also there before today. It’s really fkng with my internet use…slow and background music after it also opens separate windows. I’m a multiple tab person, so trust me, I never open separate windows. Please, help. I repeat, all the methods mentions everywhere do not work. When I do try to uninstall from program and features, the little circle appears for a couple of spins, I’m asked for my permission to do this, I say yes, and that’s the end of that story…nothing. When I click the uninstall in the folder in program files, it brings up a different permission box (one I’m familiar with), the screen goes dark for a moment and then comes back and you guessed it, it’s still there.

It doesn’t show up in my task manager, either. I’d almost rather buy a new computer than do a complete re-install. I’m using Vista, I have no choice. Actually, Vista has been fine for what I need a computer for, it’s my processor that could be updated. I do download different converter software so I can only imagine that’s where I got it, but I’ve never gotten malware from something I dl’d from CNET before. I realize this is NOT CNET’s problem.
