How to Remove Do-search.com Homepage (Do Search Browser Hijacker Removal Guide)

Do-search.com replaces your default homepage and even reappears after your repair it? In this article you will find how to remove this do-search.com homepage or do search browser hijacker and prevent its return permanently.

What is Do-search.com (Do Search)?

Do-search.com (Do Search) is a browser hijacker that hijacks web browser homepage and default search engine to display ads or even record user’s search habits. Similar to other stubborn browser hijackers including Qvo6, Nation Zoom, Aartemis.com, or Delta-homes, Do-search.com claims to be global meta search engine providing users with best results, however it just utilizes search results from Google, Yahoo, Bing or even other reputable search engines. Actually there is no real search technology in it.

As such, Do-search.com or Do Search serves as an ads-supporting platform to promote advertisements or site ranking using blackSEO techniques. We would never recommend you to use it or keep it long because with Do Search, you will end up with misleading ads filled among those real search results from Google, Yahoo and the like, which even cause more redirects and other search issues.

It seems that you are forced to use Do Search services, which are for sure not unreliable.

Is Do-search.com/Do Search a virus?

Do-search.com or Do Search is not technically a virus. As we mentioned above, it is a browser hijacker, categorized as PUP by the industry, to cause tricky browser hijacking issues and floods of ads, or web search tracking.

Do-search.com exploits real results from popular search engine like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.
