Is Qone8 a virus?

Qone8 search is not strictly a virus although it does show bad traits. It is defined as a browser hijacker, or PUP by the industry. The Qone8 seeks to spread bundled with other free dowoloads and hijack the web search to fulfill its profitable purpose. It hijacks the web browser by adding its add-on, replacing the default search engine and homepage without user’s knowledge and even also add its shortcut in order to hang over the web search. In a word, you would never expect Qone8 search results effective like any reputable search services provider like Google or Yahoo. It is potentially risky because it may redirect you to some websites more likely to be already hacked or full of unreliable advertisements.
