Step 1 Uninstall “See Similar” related programs
Windows 7/Vista: Go to Star Menu → Select Control Panel → Click on Uninstall a Program / Programs and Features → locate Genius Box, WebCake, Superfish, SpecialSavings or any suspicious applications → Click on Uninstall button or double click the program’s icon
Windows XP: Go to Star Menu → Select Control Panel → Click on Add/Remove Programs → locate Genius Box, WebCake, Superfish, SpecialSavings or any suspicious applications → Click on Remove button

Step 2 Remove the malicious extension from your installed browser
For Internet Explorer users:
Launch Internet Explorer → Click on Tools or the gear icon → choose Manage add-ons in the drop-down menu → right click Genius Box, WebCake, Superfish, SpecialSavings or any suspicious extensions in the Toolbars and Extensions tab → click on Disable
Alternative Solution: Reset IE to its default state
1. Open Internet Explorer, click Tools at the top right corner, and then select Internet options.
2. Switch to Advanced tab in the window and click on the Reset button.
3. Check Delete personal settings and click Reset button in the new window.
4. After the reset finished, click Close button. Then restart Internet Explorer.
For Mozilla Firefox users:
Open Firefox → click on the orange Firefox button at the up left corner → choose Add-ons in the drop-down menu → go to Extension tab → hit the Disable button behind Genius Box, WebCake, Superfish, SpecialSavings or any suspicious extensions
Reset Firefox to its default state will help you if you cannot find the extension that causes “See Similar” pop-up.
Alternative Solution: Reset Firefox to its default state
1. Click on orange Firefox button on the upper left corner of the browser, and then move the mouse pointer to Help in the dropped-down menu and select Troubleshooting information in the sub-menu.
2. Click the Reset Firefox button in the Troubleshooting Information page and in the confirmation window that opens.
3. Firefox will close and be reset. When it’s done, a window will list the information that was imported.
For Google Chrome users:
