Step 1. Uninstall related PUPs from Control Panel
As mentioned above that Google Webhp comes bundled with Conduit related programs or toolbars like Delta Search, Mixi.DJ or WhiteSmoke toolbar, you have to remove all the related programs so as to thoroughly get rid of the Google Webhp hijacker.
Below we take the Delta Search toolbar which bundles Conduit Google Webhp as an example for demonstration purpose.
Chances are that you can not uninstall the PUP like Delta Search Toolbar from the Control Panel since it also creates the conduit startup for your machine. If so, then you need to firstly disable the Conduit startup or other related startup so as to enable you to uninstall the unwanted program or toolbar.
To disable conduit startup, you need to click Windows start button and put msconfig in the search box, press Enter. Locate the startup tab on the opened window, and find the Conduit search startup, deselect it and click Apply to apply the change and click OK to exit the window.

For Win 8: Press Windows key or hover the cursor in the bottom left of the screen to access Start Menu →locate the related PUP→ right click on the icon→ Click Uninstall from the appeared toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
For Windows 7/Vista: Click Start →Click Control Panel → Locate Programs, and click Uninstall a program→ find the related PUP from the opened list → Locate the item you want to uninstall and right click to open the dropped menu, where you need to click Uninstall/Change. If there comes an confirmation, click Yes to proceed.
For Windows xp: Click Start → Select Control Panel → Click Add/Remove Programs → Find the related PUP from the opened list → locate and right click the item which you want to uninstall → click Remove to proceed the uninstall.

If there open a box of confirmation to uninstall, click Yes to proceed.

Step 2. Remove Delta Search Toolbar and Conduit Search from IE, Firefox and Chrome
Tips: Before you repair the browser settings in your web browser, make sure you uninstall the Delta Search toolbar and its related programs from the Control Panel completely, otherwise you may fail to repair the browser settings in internet browsers.

—Manual Removal and Repair

Note: please repair all the browser settings changed by Delta Search as instructed here to return a normal Internet Explorer search.
1. Remove add-on
Open Internet Explorer, click Settings icon to select Manage add-on
There will open a window of Manage add-ons, where you need to locate on Toolbars and Extensions tab, search through the list to find the Delta Search and related add-on. Click the item to disable and remove it one by one.
Note: Some PUP’s inserted add-on/plugin in IE can only be removed through control Panel, that is to say, if you uninstall it from the Control Panel, this add-on will automatically disappear in IE.
2. Remove Search engine
Still on the window of manage add-ons, switch to Search Providers tab, and then search for and select Delta Search and Conduit related search engine and click on Remove button at the bottom to get rid of it. (Please note if the Delta Search related search engine is set as default, firstly you need to set other search engine like bing or google as default and then proceed the removal. )
3. Reset homepage
Click on Settings icon and then select Internet Options. Then there will come out a window of Internet Options, under the General tab, locate on Home page area, to repair the homepage, you can either click on the Use Blankbutton or type your desired homepage like www.google.com in the edit box. Then, click OK to save the change and exit. That’s it.
Restart the Internet Explorer to check. That’s it.

Open Mozilla Firefox, click on Firefox button on the top left of the window to open a dropped menu where you need to select Add-ons to open the mange add-ons window.
On the opened window of manage add-ons, locate then Extensions tab to locate the Delta Search related add-on and click Remove button to remove it.

Besides, you also need to check for the plugin tab on the add-on manage window, where you may also find the Conduit plugin and if any, make sure remove it as well.

2. Reset homepage
Click Firefox button to select Options->Options from the dropped menu.
Then there will open a window of Options as shown below, from where you need to locate General tab and reset the homepage by either entering your desired homepage like www.google.com or click on Restore to Default button. When finished, click OK to save the change and exit.
3. Repair search engine
In the opened Firefox window,find the search box and click the right place as shown in below image to drag out a dropped menu from there to select Manage search engines…
Then there will comes out a windows as shown in below picture. Click on Delta Search Customized Web...and then click Remove to remove it. Click OK to save the change and exit the window.
4. Configure Firefox
Open a new blank tab in your Firefox, and type about:config in the address bar to open a window as shown in below picture.
Click I’ll be careful, I promise! to continue.
Then, on the appeared window, type Conduit in the search box to find any items with value containing Conduit or other keywords of the PUP from list there and highlight the item, right click on it to select Reset, one by one.
When finished, restart the Firefox to check. That’s it.
1. Remove Add-on
Open Google Chrome, and click the wrench or bars icon to navigate to Tools → Extensions.
On the opened window, search for the related extensions as the Delta Search and related extensions. Locate the related extension and click the Trashcan icon to remove it.
2. Reset homepage
On the opened window, switch to Settings as shown in below image and then under the On startup area, click Set pages
There will open a page as shown below. Locate the http:\\search.conduit.com address and click X to remove it. Click OK to save the change and exit.
Here you may notice that the search.conduit.com utilizes the name of Google, shown as the replaced homepage of google webhp. Make sure remove it from the start page and homepage on both areas of On Startup andAppearance
3. Remove Search Engine
Still on the Chrome settings window, find the search area and click on manage search engine button.
Then you will open a window like below picture. Firstly you need to select another search engine like google.com as default in order to remove other unwanted search engines like Conduit Search.
After set Google as the default search engine, click Conduit Search and then click X to remove them one by one.
If you also find the Delta Search exists below as shown in above image, please also remove it by locating it and clicking the Trash icon.
Then click Done at the bottom to save the change and exit.
Restart the Google Chrome to check. And that’s it.
Step 3. Optimize system performance (Recommended)
Often there will be a lot of invalid registry entries or junk files, leftovers which may jam the computer system and cause a unstable running system after uninstalling software, PUP, or virus infections in particular.
